Curricula

2009-2010 Academic Curricula

At Ecole Bilingue, we first recognize and follow the French National Curriculum for all cycles offered at our school.  As stated in our mission statement, in the Elementary Program (Kindergarten through 5th grade), we also provide high-quality, American English Language and American Studies programs for our students. We continue to work on harmonizing the English Language Arts and American Studies curricula with the French curriculum. This means we are maximizing and balancing our studies in the French language, Math, Science, Social Studies, Visual Arts, Physical Education, and Music with a meaningful supplement of English Language Arts, American History, Geography, and Civics (our present American Studies program).   In addition, we are actively integrating a harmonized curriculum between the French instructional expectations and American grade level expectations in Mathematics and Science.
